This vegan 4 ingredient salad dressing is creamy, sweet, and so easy to make! It’s made with simple, healthy ingredients and oil free.
A few weeks back on my Instagram I asked for you recipe suggestions, and someone asked for salad dressing. I had never even considered before, because I’m not going to lie, your girl keeps it REAL simple. We’re talking some apple cider vinegar, a drizzle of mustard, and some hummus.
But I know a lot of people struggle to eat salads if they don’t have a dresisng they love. So, I did some brainstorming and this vegan 4 ingredient salad dressing was born. It’s now a go to for me on my daily salad, which means it’s simple, quick and healthy.
Basically we’re mixing up some really simple ingredients for a fab creamy, sweet and slightly sour dressing that’s perfect for salads (duh) but also great for dipping raw or roasted veg! So, so good.
Let’s make some dressing!
Ingredients for vegan 4 ingredient salad dressing
- Oil-free hummus: I love the Oasis brand, but any oil-free hummus would work.
- Dijon mustard: mustard gives the dressing flavor.
- Apple cider vinegar: a bit of vinegar gives the dressing a little tang.
- Stevia or date sugar: stevia or date sugar naturally sweetens the dressing to balance out the vinegar and mustard.
- Water: you’ll use as much water as you’d like to thin the dressing out to a consistency you like.
Tips for making vegan 4 ingredient salad dressing
- Add the water little by little. Add the water a tablespoon at a time, until you get the consistency for the dressing that you like.
- Feel free to adjust to your taste. This recipe is very forgiving, so if you want it a little more sweet, add a bit more stevia, or if you want some more tanginess, add more mustard.
This vegan 4 ingredient salad dressing is oil free, made with 4 healthy ingredients, creamy, sweet, a little tangy, and so versatile. As if that isn’t reason enough to try it, it’s SO quick and easy and way healthier than store-bought dressings.

This is SO good! Like you, I also tend to just use apple cider vinegar, dijon mustard, and hummus. I just made salads for our lunch and decided to throw this together. It is really, really delicious! 🙂
So happy you liked it!! I love that it’s just mixing up what we already use 🙂 you wouldn’t think it’d make much of a difference, but I love it too!!
