Vegan watermelon fruit pizza is a refreshing, healthy, fun summertime snack! Full of a variety of sweet fruit and easy to customize with your favorite textures.
Here to brighten up your Monday!!
Seriously, a cute little slice of this vegan watermelon fruit pizza is all you need to (naturally) sweeten your day. Since we already combined bananas and sushi, I figured watermelon and pizza was the next logical step.
I am obsessed with watermelon in the summer, and vegan watermelon fruit pizza is the perfect refreshing, sweet summertime treat. Seriously, how fun would this be to serve at a kid’s party?! No kids necessary though, cause let’s be real, I can demolish one of these all by myself, reeeeal quick.
Plus, it’s such a nourishing, hydrating, healthy snack. Fruit is SUCH a healthy food, and so many people don’t get nearly enough (not to mention all the confusion about fruit having too much sugar…face palm). Might as well get in as much as possible in fun, pizza form.
Let’s talk about vegan watermelon fruit pizza!
Ingredients for vegan watermelon fruit pizza
- Watermelon: I use a mini watermelon sliced into a disc for the base, but you can use whatever size you’d like depending on how many people are going to share it.
- Vegan yogurt: I always use unsweetened Kite Hill yogurt, but any vegan yogurt should work. I add just a tiny bit of water to thin it out so it’s easy to drizzle over the watermelon.
- Toppings of your choice: think fresh or dried fruit, nuts, vegan chocolate chips, etc.
Tips for making vegan watermelon fruit pizza
- Carefully cut the watermelon into a large disc. You want a large circle to start with, then you’ll cut it into little triangles to resemble pizza slices.
- Have fun with the toppings. Feel free to customize different pieces or sides of the watermelon fruit pizza with whatever toppings you want. I use berries, mango, kiwi, and chia seeds, but the options are endless. I’m thinking other fruits, shredded coconut, and maybe even a drizzle of melted chocolate would be soooo so good. It’s super fun to choose whatever flavors and textures you like.
This vegan watermelon fruit pizza is full of sweet, nourishing fruit, loaded with a variety of flavors and textures, and SO refreshing and perfect for summer. Whether you’re a kid or not, it’s just pure fun in healthy snack form.
