Vegan Chocolate Raspberry Oatmeal

Ingredients
  

  • 3/4 cup whole grain rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 3/4 cup hot water
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1/2 cup fresh or thawed frozen raspberries

Instructions
 

  • Mix the oats and flax in a bowl.
  • In a microwave safe mug or glass, heat the water in the microwave until it's steaming hot, then carefully remove from the microwave using a towel and pour over the oats.
  • Cover the bowl of oats with a plate and let it sit for at least 1 hour.
  • Remove the plate and mix in the cacao powder, adding a tablespoon of water if needed to get everything well mixed.
  • Top with raspberries and enjoy!
