Vegan Chocolate Strawberry Protein Overnight Oats

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder

  • 3/4 cup nondairy milk – I use unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen strawberries

Instructions
 

  • Mix the oats, ground flaxseed, cacao powder, and protein powder in a bowl. If you want to add a little sweetener (like date sugar) here, you can. I prefer them unsweetened as the fruit on top is sweet enough for me, but if you have a strong sweet tooth, add whatever sweetener you like.
  • Add the nondairy milk and stir to combine.
  • Set in the fridge for at least 2 hours, or overnight.
  • When you're ready to eat, mix the oats and add a bit more milk depending on the texture you want, then top with strawberries.
