1/4cupcacao powder - you could also use unsweetened cocoa powder if you don't mind that ingredient not being totally raw
Instructions
Add the walnuts and almonds to a food processor and blend for about 1 minute, until they're mostly broken down.
Add the dates and cacao powder and blend for about 5 minutes, until everything is combined into a thick, sticky dough.
Line an 8x8 square pan with parchment paper, then press the brownie bar mixture into an even layer in the pan. The mixture may be a bit wet and oily, that's normal - the nuts release a lot of natural oils.
Refrigerate the brownie bars overnight to set. You can also set them in the freezer if you want a more firm texture, just make sure to thaw for 15 minutes before you want to eat them.
