medjool date, chopped into small pieces

vanilla extract

nondairy milk - I use unsweetened oat milk for the best creamy texture, but any nondairy milk works
Instructions
Mix the oats, ground flaxseed, and cinnamon in a bowl.
Add the chopped date, vanilla extract and oat milk and stir to combine.
Set in the fridge for at least 2 hours, or overnight.
When you're ready to eat, mix the oats and add a bit more milk depending on the texture you want. Add any toppings you like and enjoy!
